Registration for the 16th Annual Welfare Research and Evaluation Conference, sponsored by the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation in the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is now open. The conference will be held May 29 - May 31, 2013, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

Annual Welfare Research and Evaluation Conference: Call for Proposals

Deadline: November 9, 2012

The Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has announced a call for proposals for the 16th Annual Welfare Research and Evaluation Conference. The conference will be held May 29 – 31, 2013 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. 

OPRE invites proposals for individual presentations and for entire conference sessions. Proposals will be considered based on:

The Employee Assistance Research Foundation is calling for proposals to conduct research on the workplace-related outcomes of employee assistance programs. SSA Announces New Interdisciplinary Scholar Networks

Building on the eminent interdisciplinary tradition at the University of Chicago, the School of Social Service Administration has just launched a new initiative that will take its multidisciplinary problem-solving approach to a new level. The new Interdisciplinary Scholar Network initiative at SSA will bring together scholars across disciplinary and professional lines to generate innovative and more comprehensive knowledge aimed at addressing some of society's most intractable social problems.
